The Dreamcast is the final home video game console manufactured by Sega. It was released on November 27, 1998, in Japan; September 9, 1999, in North America; and October 14, 1999, in Europe. It was the first sixth-generation video game console, preceding Sony's PlayStation 2, Nintendo's GameCube, and Microsoft's Xbox. The Dreamcast's 2001 discontinuation ended Sega's 18 years in the console market.
We first take a stock working Dreamcast, give it a full service inside and out, fix any issues and restore the console to fully working order.
After this, you can select any upgrades or modifications you like such as new shells, region free or SD Card mods, USB-C power and more.
The console can have power, AV and controllers included and be boxed or not. Simply select the specification you desire.
You can choose to have the console bare or with controllers, power and AV cables.
The CleanPower is a modern USB-C replacement power board so your console can be powered from anywhere in the world using a USB-C power brick that supports 15V or 20V output. Great for keeping the internal heat down in the console and allowing you to power the device from any region in the world (no mains voltage issues).
The controller ports can be upgraded to not only accept original Dreamcast controllers, but also allow up to 4 wireless controllers to be used including:
This is perfect and how I play my own Dreamcast, using an Xbox Elite 2 controller :D
The BIOS can be upgraded to a region free BIOS to allow you to play any region discs.
If you prefer to load your games from SD card, the disc drive can be replaced with a GDEmu and an SD card (included) so you can load up any games from it. No BIOS mod is needed for this.
If you plan to do any serious gaming, we highly recommend the HDMI upgrade. The output is massively improved and can be connected to any HDMI enabled TV.
Without this, you will need a TV that supports 15kHz old-school composite.
The HDMI Cable taps into the output port and generates a good signal.
The internal HDMI mod taps into the video encoder directly for the absolute best pixel-perfect image.
A nice touch is replacing the original shell with a brand new one, in various colors.

Retro Enthusiast
RetroSix is a family run business led by Luke, who has been in the gaming industry and retail business since 2013, and sold consoles, controllers and even designed our own controllers and consoles.
We repair and upgrade consoles while showing them off on our social channels such as TikTok.
We sell products for restoring your own consoles should you wish to do it yourself, including many of our own hardware we design and manufacture in-house.
Finally, we print directly onto products to create unique one-off designs of things like Game Boys, Game Gears and anything that has a relatively flat surface we can print on. Checkout our Printed Products sections to buy some or design your very own.
We started RetroSix not as a mass market business, instead with the aim of perfection. Recreating moulds of original shells, casting them from quality ABS, redesigning hardware such as power supplies, USB-C, audio and more, to upgrade your consoles to the highest quality available. No cheap junk sold for profit.
Partners
We believe partnering with other likeminded companies is a great way to help each other out and ultimately make products that are better for the end consumer.
Of course, we sell and ship worldwide direct from source if you would like to purchase direct from anywhere in the world.
